OUR MISSION

As Christ’s ambassadors, and in obedience to the Great commission, we commit ourselves to communicating the word of God to believers and non-believers in our circle of influence. To non-believers, we reach out to introduce them to the life and hope found only in the Lord Jesus Christ. To believers we reach out to help them grow, mature in Christ, and in turn reach out to others.  Convinced about the truth and life changing power of God’s word, the Word of Restoration Ministries, Inc. exists to project the intimate details of the whole counsel of God. Using the word of God, the ministry hopes to challenge believers to conform to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ and to demonstrate His righteousness, love, grace, and compassion in their relationship and interaction with everyone. By their reflection of Christ’s love, believers as individuals and as the church can stand out as light and salt in a dark, decaying world. And by loving others, believers will demonstrate their love for God. 

We focus primarily on Africa, with the vision to confront physical and spiritual barriers that frustrate people’s desire to know and follow the Lord faithfully. Primarily, we will strive to equip local believers to reach out to local no-believers. To this end the ministry will seek to mobilize spiritual and material support for indigent Christian workers, lay believers, and non-believers especially in Africa. We will provide them bibles, Christian literatures, food, and clothing. When possible, we will enhance their access to medical care, among other necessities. We will encourage our partners in the United States of America to pray for the spiritual strength and sustenance of other believers and Christian workers in different parts of the world. By publishing information about human needs and suffering around the world, we will alert believers everywhere about specific issues for which to pray.
